I am using a new MacBook Pro with the M1 chip and latest version of Rekordbox 6.5.1. The Sync Manager that is usually at the bottom left isn't appearing. Meanwhile, DJ controller software such as RekordBox by Pioneer wasn’t working yet on Rosetta 2 or M1 as of this post. Enterprise clients should confirm which apps work with the new M1 architecture and ask for a roadmap from key vendors for M1 forward and backward compatibility on Rosetta 2. Rekordbox's functions vary depending on the Pioneer device you're using from the basic CDJ with USB support - the 350 - up to the high-end flagship model - the CDJ-2000 Nexus - but for the sake of this introduction, we're going to run you through the basic aspects of the software and get you up to speed with DJing with Rekordbox. Apple’s pivot away from Intel processors to using its own M1 chip in its Mac PCs and MacB ooks means iOS apps can now run directly in macOS. Unfortunately, it also means some desktop apps developed.
